CALIFORNIA TRANSPARENCY IN SUPPLY CHAINS ACT
The Sunwise Automotive Group and its affiliated entities recognize that human trafficking and slavery continue to plague many places throughout the world. As a franchised dealership and distributor of various Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products, we support and cooperate with our OEM's efforts to eradicate human trafficking, slavery, and other inhumane compulsory labor practices from their supply chains. Because we rely on our OEM's efforts in this area, we do not directly engage in verification of our product supply chains to evaluate and address the risks of human trafficking and slavery, nor do we conduct independent audits of suppliers to evaluate their compliance with company standards for human trafficking and slavery in supply chains. For the same reasons, we do not require direct suppliers to certify that materials incorporated into the product comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which they are doing business. Similarly, we do not maintain internal accountability standards and procedures for employees or contractors failing to meet company standards regarding slavery and trafficking, and we do not provide employees and management with training on human trafficking and slavery or mitigating the risks within the supply chains of products, as we rely on our OEM's for enforcement and accountability in all of these areas.
